Update: June 4, 2007 - The final draft of the Heartland Chapter bylaws has been posted to this site. We anticipate approval by the STC this year, and invite the members of the Heartland chapter to download and review the bylaws draft, which is located at the About STC Heartland page.
Update: May 21, 2007 - The Revival Committee has completed final editing of the Chapter Bylaws draft. This draft will be submitted to the STC National leadership for review by Summer 2007. The STC national leadership reviews bylaws at its regular meetings, so we will be proceeding under the assumption that the draft will be adopted in its present form.
May 1, 2007 - The Heartland Chapter Revival Committee (a small but dedicated group of local STC members) is actively engaged in revising the Chapter bylaws for review by the active Heartland membership and the national STC. We'll be circulating the current draft to members for approval soon, so stay tuned to this page and your e-mail for news. We encourage all members to review and vote on the draft so we can move forward in our revitalization efforts!

Update: June 4, 2007 - The Heartland Chapter Revival Committee has approved a final slate of officer candidates. We recently polled the active Heartland membership by e-mail for nominees, and have posted the list of nominees (see below). This week, we will be conducting the election online. We will be posting the results next week - good luck, candidates! You too, George!
Update: May 21, 2007 - The Heartland Chapter Revival Committee has approved a slate of nominees for its initial officer elections. We are now opening up nominations to the general membership. Below is our slate of nominees:
Officer elections will be held in June. At that time, you will receive a link to our voting site. The Revival Committee is accepting nominations for officers at this time. If you would like to nominate another candidate for office, please submit the name and office to deb.carlson@dtn.com by June 1. Nominations will be closed at that time.
May 1, 2007 - The Heartland Chapter Revival Committee has prepared a slate of officer nominees from among its members to help us all get started. Once we have established our bylaws, we'll be opening up the nominations to all chapter members. We'll keep you posted here and on the Home page.
